We had a beautiful 75 degree day so I let my three big Ball Pythons spend the afternoon outdoors and they really enjoyed the freedom and exercise and the chance to enhance their senses. Sunny is my female Pastel and Tipr is my male Normal and Ginger is my female Normal reduced pattern.

It's that time of the year again adult snakes breeding to produce babies so I've been extremely busy lately :) Love producing baby snakes they are so cute and adorable, but then again I think ALL snakes are awesome !!!

Baby Corn Snakes I produced last year got their first experience with nature and the outdoors and they had a BLAST !!!
I currently have a total of 57 Corn Snake eggs incubating can't wait for them to hatch around the end of the first and second week of July :)
Tawny had a clutch of 27 eggs and Krystl had a clutch of 30 eggs

I have some of the most amazing snakes and several of them are so used to bonding with people they are EXTREMELY prissy and fussy and have no issues with helping themselves to dinner ROFLMAO
Jade my female Coastal Carpet Python hates the feel of ANY wood substrate
Tawny has a fit if while eating one of her feeders touches her skin anywhere
Nosey flips out and hisses if I set anything on the roof of their top cage level roof
Chewy has a fit if he has to excrete waste in his enclosure.

I made this video as a request from a great friend Mitchell since he asked for an update of Chewy my 11 foot male Coastal Carpet Python and I hope you enjoy the video Mitchell and Chewy sends you snake hugs and hisses :o) I apologize for my appearance I got up early and ran out to do some shopping and when I got home Chewy was begging to come out to visit :)
We can show people and tell them that snakes can in fact be social animals and they make marvelous pets and companions but if someone is determined to hate snakes or fear them that person is truly missing out on a wonderful experience. Take the time to learn about snakes from the people that have invested MANY years raising them and working with them and you will better understand the bond we have with our scaled friends. They can be just as great a pet as a dog or a cat can be. !! Chewy came from Brian and Lori Barczyk at BHB Reptiles as a baby and he is now 6 years old.

Snakes make great companions and the way they perceive people has everything to do with the amount of quality time their handler is willing to invest. Big constrictor snakes are no exception they are just as amazing and great to work with as any smaller snake. Big constrictors should really be raised and handled by experienced snake keepers :)

I look at things this way !! We are all individuals and do things our own way and the way that works best for us to care for our animals and there is no such thing as perfect advice or always right because there are so many different variables when it comes to taking care of snakes so I just figure people should stop being so judgmental and join together for the future of these amazing animals instead of the constant friction within the reptile community !!

I had my first snake at the age of 14 years of age and I've had an undying love and passion for snakes and most of my time is invested working with my scaled friends because they are amazing companions. I will die with this passion for snakes and continue to try and be a voice for them since they can't speak for themselves.This video was recorded the end of summer this past year and decided to post it to show people my real relationship that I have with my snakes to show people there is no reason to hate or fear snakes !!! Learn about snakes and do research to help with the fears that people have of these amazing animals :)

As of yesterday Anacondas and Reticulated Pythons have been added to the Lacey Act and we are ALL overwhelmed by this decision and it's the end result of HSUS push to take ALL animals out of captive environments beginning with snakes because sadly enough they are the most feared by people that know so little about them.
Big Constrictors are not a threat to anyone and the lies have really contributed to people's fears of big snakes because of their lack of education about them so PLEASE join USARK and help us fight for our rights to raise and reproduce these amazing animals !!!
USARK plans to take this to Federal Court and if we can't win there we will continue to fight in Supreme Court to get ALL of the constrictor snakes removed from the Lacey Act and your funding and help would be greatly appreciated to help our fight for our snakes !! http://usark.org/

All of my snakes spend a lot of time outdoors during the spring and summer months and they always have their swimming pool set up with the water sun heated so if they want to cool off they can get in their pool and soak or play and swim a lot like they usually do. It's great for rehydrating a snakes skin

First snake outdoors this year naturally was Chewy since he's been basking in his enclosure by the window in the sun for the past two weeks and has been begging me to take him out. He pooped me right out today and was rather cute when I put him back in his enclosure he dozed off and I took a nap so it's a toss up as to who wore who out but we both really enjoyed our outing :) Chewy hates our Trampoline and he got upset enough that he started huffing at it so I had to bring him back indoors LOL No green grass yet but Chewy got in a ton of exercise today and enjoyed some freedom !!

All Of My Videos Can Be Watched In HD For Best Quality
The last of my baby Corn Snakes that I produced this year had a blast last night I gave them a huge water dish in their enclosure and they played in and out of it for a couple of hours and finally coiled up inside their newspapers and I didn't realize until early the next morning when I took them out to clean up their enclosure from having been wet and settling into their newspapers some of the ink had transferred onto the babies. All of the papers were actually faded black and white print I soaked them and got it all off but they sure had a ball playing in the water. While I had them in the tote one snake was rubbing it's head to start it's shed.

I wanted to share this video showing my daughter April handling Sunny my Pastel Ball Python. I am posting this to show people the normal behavior of snakes that are socialized and used to being handled and around people and other animals. They are in fact VERY calm laid back animals and they display no animosity toward humans and I'm so tired of the lies the media and press put out to the public about all those evil killer snakes !! Sure a big constrictor or a venomous snake has the ability to defend their lives and can kill someone that disrespects them or is reckless or complacent but that's human error and no fault of the snakes !!

It's important to remain calm and relaxed when handling your snakes especially larger constrictors because snakes react to the way you are acting and they sense stress and nervousness.
I went through some of my older DVDs and found this video of myself and my x boyfriend handling my 100 pound Boa named Grumpy. He's well earned his name he is a VERY vocal snake and even though he complains often he's a very gentle social snake. There is no reason to fear a snake because it's big they really are less likely to strike at a person than a small snake is. I spend most of my time with some of my snakes out of their enclosures because I really enjoy their companionship and I'm never concerned about getting bit because I always stay calm and relaxed when I work with them.
Sorry this video isn't the greatest quality it was done with an older camera but I just wanted to show people how calm and laid back a big constrictor can be if they are used to being handled and worked with. I've always had a great passion for raising big constrictor snakes ;)

My snakes spend a LOT of time outside their enclosures and they can't resist pestering Deffer my cat especially when Deffer isn't paying them any attention they bug her to try and get her to notice them LOL Actually they normally curl up together on my daybed and bask in the sun together but I was waiting for the snakes food to finish thawing so I could feed them so didn't allow them to roam all over as they normally do. The two snakes in this video are Krystl and Tawny I don't advise ANYONE to force their cat and snakes together this relationship has always been their choice !!!!
